When the exceptional takes shape
For packaging, attention to detail is essential in giving an object its final unique character. From the design through to the finalisation stage, SOGECAP focuses on emphasising specific features by using production processes that combine technical perfection, quality and creativity. From the simplest lines to the most original shapes, from the raw material to the most refined colour finishing, each new product development represents a challenge that hones the company's expertise. For example, in 1993, SOGECAP produced all the aluminium parts for Jean-Paul Gaultier's women's line, and then developed the "gun barrel" colour requested by the designer for the pump covers and tops of his Le Male line. Similarly, the hammer-tone finish on the collar bands of Yves Saint-Laurent's Yvresse bottle was only possible after extensive research on the tooling required to produce an alternating raised and flat appearance.
